Green Pond Baptist Church is an active fellowship. Below is a list of some of our current ministries.

Regular Ministries

  • Sunday School – Sunday School classes begin for children two years old through adults. Each class is taught by men and women who maintain a praiseworthy testimony (Nursery is provided for children less than two years of age).
  • Children’s Church – This weekly ministry meets on Sunday morning during the morning worship for children age four through fourth grade. This ministry is lead by a husband and wife team who have several children of their own.
  • Choir and Music Ensembles – A variety of musical opportunities are available for you to praise and worship the Lord.
  • Young Believers Ministry – Elementary age children attending on Wednesday nights are invited to join this ministry. This achievement oriented program helps young children learn the Bible while sharpening their musical talents.
  • Rainbow Bible Club – Preschool children attending on Wednesday nights are invited to the Rainbow Bible Club. Bible stories, songs, games and crafts are geared for ages two though five.
  • Teen Connection – A fellowship and outreach designed for teenagers, this group enjoys outings and games together. Additionally the teens are active in outreach to¬†others, participating in skits and other ministries in the church.
  • Ladies’ Bible Study Fellowship – Each month our ladies meet to plan ministries, fellowship and study scriptures together. This ministry is under the direction of our pastor’s wife, Mrs. Kathy Hall.
  • Men of Faith – Several times each year our men plan times together for fellowship and personal growth. Whether it is a prayer meeting, a prayer breakfast, or an overnight fishing trip, the goal is to grow our men in the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Joy Club – Adults 50 and older are invited to participate in the Just Older Youth ministry (JOY Club). Good food and fellowship among friends is the goal. The JOY Club usually meets the third Thursday of every month for a pot luck lunch.
  • Library – Books and other Christian tools are available to help you in your Christian walk. The library is open before and after every church service.
  • CD / DVD Ministry – Church services are recorded and made available to those who ask for them.
